People from India noticed this team in the first season of ISL 2014 because of the man who behind the team the great cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar. Blasters attained huge fan support and media attraction because of its players, owners, fan following etc. In the first season team was the runner up of the tournament, but in the second season was a tragedy to the team in the 2015. But story changed in 2016 Sachin introduced new co owners, superstars from Telugu movies like Chiramjeevi, Nagarjuna, Allu Aravind etc. Team attained huge fan following the third season compared to the second and first season. Team reached in the final but could not won the match against Athletico de Kolkata, But the fans never try to blame their coach, players, management because they know the fact that team make their level best to get a good result. Team management introduced one of the great coach from England, Mr. Steve James Coppell. Coach tried his level best to make a good result with the available resources, he certified that Kerala Blasters defense is one of the best defense in the ISL 2016, and he also told the management select a good team for this fans. All players and supporting staff praised about the good fans from Kerala. One time FIFA representative changed his previous views about Kochi football fans. He previously make a statement that the fans from Kochi was not keeping stadium manners that they trying create problems in the stadium, after the final match he praised the fans that they supported good football after the lose of home team, they never created problems in the final.
